I purchased this small heart pan for a craft project in my classroom. We crushed old crayolas, mixed the colors as desired in the pan cups and melted the crayolas in a toaster oven. When cooled the colored hearts popped out easily and were a hit for Valentine's Day. The pan cleaned up beautifully.

Used for the first time last night, to make valentine crayons. Worked beautifully, sprayed really good before use.

Bought this sized heart silicone baking pan to bake crayons into heart shapes for my students. Crayons popped right out. Pan is now dishwasher cleaned and waiting to be baked in. Will spray with cooking spray before trying a baked good in it.

So, despite the name, I didn't expect each heart to be quite so small. I bought this pan to make Valentine brownies for my boyfriend. The brownies were the size of brownie bites, but they came out of the pan easily and held their shape.

These worked perfectly for my chocolate peanut butter eggs! I used a spatula and spread the melted chocolate on the bottom and sides of each egg, put them into the fridge to harden for 30 min, then added my dough, and covered with melted chocolate. I let them harden in the freezer for 20 min, then popped them out and they were perfect!

I bought this with the intent of using it to melt old crayons in to give as a gift to my daughter's classmates, so my review is specifically with that in mind (though my thoughts would probably be similar for someone purchasing this to make candy with).

The mold itself is pretty thick, though soft and bendable. When I used it, I put the mold directly into a slow cooker and had to cut the mold down the middle. As a group of six, it fit perfectly inside my slow cooker to create molded crayons. I think this method would work well if someone were to use it this way to make shaped chocolates as well.

When the shapes were melted, I let it set for about 30 minutes so I could remove the mold from the slow cooker and place it in the refrigerator. Once the pieces had fully set, I was able to roll the mold and pop each piece out cleanly with no residue left behind. I had not sprayed any of the mold shapes, fyi.

Overall, this filled my purpose perfectly.

This item is fine; it didn't work well for my purposes but that's not because of anything wrong with the product. I was trying to make heart-shaped chocolate truffles, and these are really too big for truffles. I'm sure it's great for other types of food.

This kind of pans (silicon) are excellent! Very easy to unmold, wash and you can bake in microwave as well as in gas. Check this tip; if you are baking in a conventional oven, put the silicon pan on a tray, fill the pan with the batter and then into the oven; when you are baking in a microwave, take the round glass tray out of your micro, put the silicon pan on the glass tray, fill the silicon pan with the batter and then put them in the micro. It is because when you fill the silicon pans the tend to blend and you can split the batter.

This product was totally good BUT I could have bought the same product at Target, not Wilton brand, for 1.00 instead of the approx. 13.00 I paid. I am mad at myself for not researching in person at the stores before spending the money!
