Yes, buy them.
If you buy these, also buy the set in fine-point. You will find endless decorative uses for them when you work with modeling icings such as fondant & gumpaste or when you decorate cookies. Love them.

Very disappointing.
I bought these to decorate my character truffles. But they do NOT work well on chocolate! I was horribly disappointed when I tried to use them last week. I have since found out that the AmeriColor Food Writers are the way to go, so I have those on order. These may work on cookies, as I haven't used them in that application. But they definitely to not work...

Bad product - Didn't work at all!,

Bought two sets of these (bold and medium point) to write on cake pops. They don't work at all. The black came out a grainy gray color and stopped working after each stroke. I'm going to try the Americolor set as they seem to get great reviews. Unfortunately, the Wilton were the only ones in my local store, so I went with those. I will be buying the Americolor set online.

I, like others, bought these to use on cake pops. It ended up being a streaky, chunky mess. I wasted about 3 pops before I threw them and these pens in the trash. Another Wilton product that disappoints!

I bought these specifically to use on chocolate (especially white chocolate) and they do NOT write on it at all. I tried light pressure, heavy pressure, using them cold (they must be refrigerated), letting them get to room temperature. Nothing worked. I will instead be buying the AmeriColor Food Writers, as I have since found out that these are the ones to use for chocolate decorating.

I am so frustrated with these markers. I had a bad feeling before I bought them that they wouldn't work and I was right. They don't work and they are so frustrating! I tried them on candy melts for cake pops and they didn't work at all.
