After using the pizza dome several times at a friends house, I finally decided to purchase one of my own.
The pizza dome kit comes with everything (minus the dough and toppings) to get started with your very own pizza fondue setup. The dome is made out of Brick, and is hand crafted - so expect some very minor imperfections with the patterns, it doesn't affect the operation at all. In my opinion it actually makes me appreciate the dome more, knowing someone took the time to make it, and carve out the brick patterns on it. Makes you feel like you own your very own mini Italian brick pizza oven.
The setup also comes with 6 spatulas, they are stainless steel and are surprisingly easy to clean (even after cheese and toppings are baked on to it). The plastic handles never get hot, allowing you to remove your pizza from the dome after baking with ease.
The dough cutter is plastic, but does it's job. Just roll out your dough (if you bought fresh or made your own) and press to cut out a perfectly round piece that fits snuggly on the spatula. You can be creative here and use fresh dough or even pita bread ect.
Basic operation is simple, plug the dome in, turn it on and wait 10 - 15mins for it to pre-heat. While it's pre-heating, you can roll out your dough and prep mini pieces of dough. After 10 - 15 mins, place the dough on the spatula and top off with your choice of cheese/sauce/toppings and place in one of the 6 openings in the oven. Baking time can vary slightly depending on how many toppings you have and how many people are using it, but usually no more than 6 - 7 mins per pizza.
I highly recommend the pizza dome, it's well made and very easy to use - it's great for parties and just as good for a meal with the family. Children in particular love the pizza dome (with a little supervision of course).
