Wimzie's House is an award-winning, top-rated PBS show that features wonderful puppets exploring some of life's important lessons. In "Babies Have It Made," frustration is running high at Grandma Yaya's home daycare when baby brother Bo seems to be getting all the attention big sister Wimzie desires. Worse yet, Bo never seems to get punished when he does something wrong. Wimzie settles in for a nap wishing that she could be a baby again and has a dream in which her wish comes true. Wimzie's glee soon turns to disgust when she awakens in a wet diaper and can't seem to communicate with her father. Wimzie's terrifying dream gives her a whole new perspective on being a baby. In "Bo Goes Bonkers," Wimzie and her friends watch the very busy Bo for a few minutes while Grandma Yaya sews some puppets. A hilarious game of imitation and chase ends in fright when Bo finds a very successful hiding place. Even Grandma can't keep a close enough watch when the supposedly napping Bo climbs out of his crib, starts the bath water running, and gets stuck halfway down the staircase. What a lesson in responsibility! (Ages 2-7)
