Nice Selection of Songs for the movie!,
By Raj "raj_thatsme" (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton (Audio CD)
After watching the movie, I had to purchase the soundtrack because all the songs sounded really good in it.
This CD starts off with BT's `Superfabulous', an electronic fast paced song, and continues with a mixture of slow (like Somebody, Something About You, Waiting, Back To You) and fast paced songs (like More Bounce in California, Days Go By, I Wont Go To Hollywood)which you really want to listen to over and over again. Some of my favorite tracks are: Liz Phair's `Why Can't I', Five For Fighting's `Something About You', Alice Peacock's `Leading With My Heart', Bonnie McKee's `Somebody' and Frankie Jordan's `Once Again'. Given below is the complete list of songs played throughout the movie, some of which are not included in the soundtrack, to help those who are trying to identify a particular song. 1. BT - Superfabulous: Song played during the opening credits. 2. Lina - Once Again: Song played in the background of the movie that Rosalee, Pete and Cathy are watching in the theatre. 3. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC) - Whatever happened to my Rock N' Roll: This is the song which Tad and some random girl are listening to when he is drinking and driving. 4. Grandadbob - MMMnn: Song played in the background when Tad and his managers are coming up with the idea near the swimming pool. 5. Wilshire - Special: Song played when they show the view of Fraziers Bottom, West Virginia. 6. Barry White - Can't get enough of your love, Babe: Song played when Tad and Pete are cooking their dinners. 7. Wheat - Some Days: Song played when Pete and Rosalee are in the bar playing darts. 8. Taylor Dayne - Get Up: Song played when all the reporters are in front of Rosalee's home, and she realizes that she won. 9. Soul Kid #1 - More Bounce in California: Song played when Rosalee lands and is in the airport. 10. Kyle Riabko - Waiting: Song played when Pete wants to talk to Rosalee alone before Tad walks in. 11. Alice Peacock - Leading with My Heart: Song played in the background while Tad is having lunch with Rosalee at the Fraziers Bottom Diner. 12. Liz Phair - Why Can't I: Song played when Rosalee enters the Piggly Wiggly supermarket after meeting Tad. 13. John Mayer - Back to You: Song played when Tad is driving to Rosalee's place. 14. Jason Wade - Days Go By: Song played when Rosalee and Tad are making out in his car. 15. Jessy Moss - Telling You Now: Song played when Pete sees Rosalee and Tad kissing in the bar. 16. Colin Blades - All I Ever Ask: Song played when Tad and Rosalee are kissing before his managers arrive. 17. Anti-Matter - Going Back to Cali: Song played when Rosalee says yes to move with Tad. 18. The Thorns - Blue: Song played when Pete confides in Angelica in the bar. 19. Jem - California Sun: Song played when Rosalee is packing her bags and Pete enters her room. 20. Bonnie McKee - Somebody: Song played when Rosalee is in the plane looking out. 21. Kristian Leontiou - Shining: Song played after Rosalee talks to Angelica to find out where Pete is. 22. Jason Wade - Song for Pete: Song played when Pete is changing the fm station in his car. 23. Frankie Jordan - Once Again: Song played during the last scene of the movie 24. Five For Fighting - Something About You: Song played during the end credits. 25. Bleu - I Wont Go To Hollywood: Song played during the end credits. In conclusion, this soundtrack has a variety of songs which are fun listening to.

Great soundtrack, great movie,
By Willow (Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton (Audio CD)
Having loved the movie Win A Date with Tad Hamilton, I decided to buy the soundtrack too.All the songs fit the movie...ranging from pop to hip hop. Standout tracks are: "Why Can't I?" - Liz Phair. This is the edited version, there was only one swear in the original, and you can't really tell it's been cut out. This is my favorite song on the CD. I also like "Back to You" - John Mayer, "Something About You" - Five for Fighting, "Somebody" - Bonnie McKee (I had never heard this song before, but it easily became one of my favorite songs on the CD with only listening to it once.) The other song that I like on this CD is "Some Days" - Wheat. All the songs on the CD are good, but I tend to like the pop/punk songs better. Highly recommended to fans of the movie.

Wonderful!,

This CD has some great songs on it. There are bouncy fun songs like Superfablous and More Bounce in California. I really like Back to You, by the oh so wonderous John Mayer, and Why Can't I by Liz Phair. Once Again, and Somebody are two beautiful songs that I can really relate too. I suggest this CD to anyone who likes a variety of music.

Jessy Moss Telling You Now,
This review is from: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton (Audio CD)
Jessy Moss singing Telling You Now is the missing song on this album - the only live performance in the movie! She has a website that explains a lot.

Yes In Deedlie Doodlie,
This review is from: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton (Audio CD)
The song playing when Pete gets the Bullseye is "Telling You Now" by Jessy Moss (She is actually singing it on stage). If this song had been included, I would have given it 5 stars. But still, with the exceptional (albeit edited) Liz Phair song, and a bunch of other highly listenable songs, I think that this collection is above average.

Jason Wade = Lifehouse,
By greg (san francisco) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton (Audio CD)
When I saw this movie, I couldn't help but notice the Jason Wade song which is one of the last songs in the movie. He is/was the lead singer of Lifehouse and has a truly amazing voice. One way or another that guy is going to become a star (if he isn't already)...Buy the album is all I'm sayin'

Excellent soundtrack to a less than great movie,
By Adam (Portland, Maine, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton (Audio CD)
Since this is not a review of the movie, I will not waste your time with my thoughts of how it could have been so much better and how thin the plot was. Oopppsss, I guess I did. What did redeem this movie, however, was the AMAZING soundtrack. About 20 minutes into the movie you will start to notice how great each and every song truly is. Granted, had the movie been better, I might not have paid as much attention to the music. Still, every song on this CD works so well. Do you remember the effect Norah Jones had on us a year ago with her Come Away With Me CD? This one will have the same effect and you will find yourself playing it over and over again. Definately a must have.

Jessy Moss song "Telling you now",
This review is from: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton (Audio CD)
I finnnnaaally found out who did that song, and I went through a lot find it. Jessy Moss has a website, www.jessymoss.com. I am very hesitant about putting my credit card on the Internet for a CD, so they worked with me, and I am listening to the CD while I write this which is EXCELLENT. It's not just that song, the whole CD is great, and it's only 10.00 on her website. The person emailing me back and forth on her site was a complete pleasure to work with.

What's this song?!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton (Audio CD)
I was enthralled with the romance in this movie and the tracks going with it were a little poppy for my taste, but they seemed to fit the genre of the film well. There is one song, however, that I forgot the artist for... it is the song when Tad and Pete are both simultaneously getting something to eat and relaxing in their own homes, and Pete starts to sing along while making his sandwich. I absolutely love this song! Please help! Email me at KaiWahine03@hotmail.com
