Trying to extend the life of my poor old laptop, I purchased this battery after the original died. The battery from shopforbatteries lasted about two months. I returned it and they replaced it promptly, but the replacement lasted only a little over a month, and now the company isn't responding to my messages. This battery wasn't expensive, but it should have lasted longer, and I would have been better off saving up for a new laptop.
I suspect batteries such as this have been sitting on a shelf for a very long time, which reduces their lifespan. Somebody probably sold them cheap and people like me are making it profitable to resell them. Poorer but wiser here. |
