Mr. Pirkle does an extraordinary job of describing these wonderful and collectable winchesters.
I highly recommend this paperback as it is a fascinating an informative read. Arthur leaves no details out.

Well researched and well written for the collector of the Winchester Model 1895 and 1894. This book describes all the original parts and what to look for. I will never leave this book behind when I attend a gun show. Detailed drawings and descriptions of every original scew, pin, sight, barrel, stocks, butt plates, proof marks etc... Serial number list references dates of manufacture.Easy to read and understand by the novice collector with enough information for the completely seasoned collectors satisfaction.
