Winchester 70 breakdown/handbook
Good, basic, do it yourself maintence manual on the Winchester model 70 bolt action rifle. Covers different revisions (Pre- 64, 64 to 1990, 1991 to current production) and how to break them down for maintence.

Almost exclusively plagiarized pre-64 material.
I bought this believing the description that it was for all models. This is not the case. The book is dishonestly represented on Amazon. The major part of the book is stripping and assembly, and the book states that this info and drawings are for pre-64 models only. This is information and drawings lifted from other publications, and is available...

I bought this believing the description that it was for all models. This is not the case. The book is dishonestly represented on Amazon. The major part of the book is stripping and assembly, and the book states that this info and drawings are for pre-64 models only. This is information and drawings lifted from other publications, and is available in a more complete version elsewhere. There are a few pages it of general information on later models, but nothing specific or useful. Just fluff. Perhaps a dishonest attempt to allow the author to say it applies to all models. My advice is save your money unless you have a pre-64 model 70. There is very little of value to an owner of a later model.

Small book with all the information you need for pre 64 Model 70 Winchester Rifle. A bit of military history is a nice addition.
