5.0 out of 5 stars Great followup to the first of the trilogy.
This was an incredible read! I have followed Chris Bunch with the Sten series and was not disappointed in the least by this Shadow Warrior series. In fact, I loved the book. This is a must-read for anyone who followed the Sten series

3.0 out of 5 stars The war is endend but Josh Wolf knows that it hasen't
Wind After Time is a sci-fiction book about a prisoner of war who knows secrets about earths enemy. It's a good book, but the author ( chris bunch) has parts that are very slow. 5.0 out of 5 stars The Al'ar War ended. The aliens disappeared. Where?, May 31, 1996

This review is from: Wind After Time (Mass Market Paperback)
Joshua Wolfe is a Clint Eastwood clone, i.e. tall, dark, handsome, and deadly. He has learn how to fight from the aliens when he was young. He fought in the war in an effort to avenge his parent's deaths at the hands of the aliens. That is ten years in the past. Now he is a bounty hunter. He runs across a jewel that the Al'ar hold sacred. Where did it come from? The aliens are not just defeated, they have disappeared, leaving behind empty cities and alot of questions. Joshua is given a job by Security to find the last Al'ar. Why did the aliens leave? Where did they go?

Some parts aren't even neccesary for the book and some parts of the book end appruptly. The attention to detail is outstanding, because when the book is describing an action going on or a person in the book you can get a clear picture in your mind of what is happening. I feel that chris Bunch is a good aothor who needs to speed up his book and if he would leave out the parts that aren't important to the story he would be a more well know author. He has a great imagination and does great with the dtails of the story, but he makes books that are mostly slow for the average reader. Overall it was a average book that with a little more action could have been a great book.
