Great heater - even for our problem room.,

We bought this heater to tackle our problem room in our new house. Our bedroom has 12 feet high vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, brick interior walls and a 10 feet high doorway with no door as of yet. So even when the rest of the house is warm - we find our room cold. You could even see our breathe in there! So we wanted something to help out the heating system that does nothing in the bedroom. We werent confident anything could do the job to be honest as it really is a strange room.
Ok well it works pretty well. In enclosed smaller rooms such as the bathroom it is awesome and heats up the space very quickly. Even in our huge caverness freezer-like room it lifts the temperature by a good 7 degrees - which is an acomplishment believe me! It looks great (has cool blue lights) and the remote is very handy for turning the thing on and off without having to leave the comfort of your bed. My one complaint is that the fan could be stronger - particularly as one of the advertised features of the model is that you can turn the heating off and use it as a regular fan - well unfortunately this thing just does not blow enough - be warned that if you plan to use it in the summer as a cooling fan it is totally useless! So in summary as a room heater it rocks - and it really does look good too. On the negative side it sucks when it blows - which makes it ineffective as a fan for the summer months.

I purchased this in Oct, 2004. I had to return it within a month because it was not working. I waited from Nov. 2003 until late Jan. 2005 to get a replacment for the orginial heater. This time the heater work well until March 8th. Now it does not work again and I am stuck with over $8o in this heater and it does not work at all. I will never order this brand again. I loved it when it was working.
