Montreux... a great band... maybe too good,

I first heard this album one evening on public radio while driving home. I was blown away! Great tunes that defied classification. I called the station to find out who it was and bought the CD as soon as I could. Great playing,catchy-intricate-innovative tunes,a good sound- it`s what I`d been dreaming of.Maybe they were too good or too hard to pidgeonhole,but,sadly,they are no longer together. But you can still buy some of what they did...DO IT! wellman@kricket.net

Some of the best music ever recorded. Listen to Egrets, and Dolphins,then drift into a euphoric mellow haze. Another group that is fabulous, and largely forgotten. |
