I had the pleasure of meeting Scott a few years ago at a concert in Pensacola FL through a mutual friend. He was warm and engaging, very much like the music on this disc. This disc represents the best of his work on Windham Hill, most of the tracks coming from "Islands". His piano playing comes from many world music influences but he has developed it into a style all his own. If you're a new fan of Smooth Jazz but would like a little more variety, you should give this disc a try. Highly rated.
