This is a wonderful and extensive compilation of fact, fiction, poems, short stories, and other snippets about the windigo, a cannibalistic spirit of the northwoods indians. I checked a copy out on inter-library loan, and thoroughly enjoyed it, though I didn't quite finish it before I had to return it. I would have bought myself a copy if they weren't so expensive.
