We had the old style swinging hooks on our pulpit that never looked good or worked very well. The boat next to ours had this cool mount so I had to get one to. Love the in and out ease and the versatility of mounting options. Kinda pricy but what isn't on a boat....

Works very well. Keeps my anchor firmly attached when under way but easily deployed. Also keeps it on the right side of the pulpit and out of the way of the furling unit.
