I own many window treatment books, and this is one of my top favorites. It is definitely full of high-end draperies with an up-to-date look. I actually know one of the professional seamstresses and everything she does is to perfection! I bought it on the recommendation of someone else and couldn't have been happier. Lots of gorgeous fabrics dripping with the best of tassels and trims. You won't be disappointed!

Although, the photography is lovely, I was hoping for a more diverse array of styles. The styles represented a lot of "East Coast" looking window treatments that are quite lovely and "fussy" but not styles that work well in my part of the country with high ceilings and less historical architecture.

This is a fabulous book with over 150 pages of color plates showing creative variations on draperies, swags, shades, pleats, jabots, trims, hardware, and color combinations by top window treatment designers. Photographs always include both a helpful closeup of the key element as well as a full view of the treatment as part of the room's theme. It also includes a glossary of terms and an extensive resource guide at the end. It's the best book I have on current day treatments covering a variety of traditional and contemporary styles.

Really lovely examples of window treatments from various locations in the country, from the simple to the ornate. Plus, a dictionary of terms and a list of sources.

The photos in the book are not just of windows----they also show the room itself, including upholstered furniture, bed treatments, walls, flooring, etc. So, it is a "decorating" book, not just a "window treatment" book. This book will be one of my favorites; I love just about all the photos. I also recommend the following two books: Diamond Baratta Design; and Great Color & Pattern Collection with Betsy Speert.

This was a very interesting book and was a welcome addition to my portion
of my library on interior decorating. We are in the process of looking to purchase a historic Victorian home. And in this end all tips, hints and ideas are a great asset.

I am in the business of window treatments and love to have visual aids for my clients. This book gives me that and so much more.

ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOKS ON WINDOW TREATMENTS AND QUITE A TREAT TO PEAK AT WHAT SOME STYLES ARE LIKE IN THE MIDWEST STYLE, WHICH IS RARELY PUBLISHED. I LIKE THE CLASSICAL STYLES....

A beautiful book just to place on a side table. But, more importantly, what is inside the covers is helpful and informative eye-candy. Page after page of beautiful windows that have been thoughtfully and lushly dressed.
