This is Badu returning to Badu. Smooth melodies, enchanting voice and lyrics that anyone can relate too, as they touch upon the "inner thoughts" we have but don't share to the outside world. Not that her last album was a wash, but Baduizm, Live, Mama's Gun spoke to people. We need to be spoken 'to' and not 'at' nee Worldwide Underground and New Amerykah Part One (though 'Honey' was fun). I hope the rest of the album is as good as this, because Badu's spirit is what made her the leading voice of soul with feeling and meaning. This is worth MORE than the .99 cents to add to your library. Ladies and Gentlement, Badu is Back...
