Great Windows & Walls Collection has hundreds of pictures; this is a spectacular book that will help you create a gorgeous personal sanctuary with its ideas of furnishing, window treatment and wall finishes. This is an excellent book for inspiration, regardless of your own personal style.

I have many books on window treatments and decorating ideas. This book is my FAVORITE ONE! I love BHG Windows & Walls magazine, and this book had a few I'd seen there before and hundreds more. This is actually the second one of these I bought because one of my friends loved it so much she bought my first one from me. She wasn't the last one to buy this book for themselves after seeing mine! Worth every penny and more!

I highly recommend this book above dozens of books and magazines I have looked at and/or purchased over the years. Beautiful ideas abound. Wall and window treatments range from the sublimely simple suitable for any DIY to professionals only. A visually stunning compilation of wall and window decor. A feast to assist your imagination and help you see the possibilities. Yes, I have seen some ideas before but this book pulls them together in one guide with styles ranging through traditional to contemporary and craftsman to cottage.

Love the number of window treatments in the book. I was looking for some ideas that weren't too crafty or off-the-wall but different. I also didn't want a lot of technical detail on how to make the coverings, but I needed enough to be able to explain it to a seamstress.

I was really excited to get this book- with all the great reviews and the lovely picture on the cover, I was just sure I'd love it. Unfortunately I've gotta give it only 3 stars because it was really just an okay book in my opinion. I had been hoping for a book with some unique and fresh ideas along with tips and advise on installation and various DIY tidbits. It's simply not in there! There are pictures that are colorful and well taken but not much of anything that I haven't seen before in many other books. There's minimal advise on how to accomplish the presented looks; and no explanations are even offered for the reasoning behind why they did things the way they did. If you're not looking for fresh ideas and aren't particularly interested in learning how to recreate designer looks, this book may work for your purposes. It's really more of just a picture book to inspire you rather than explain much of anything.

Book arrived quickly, a few pages were folded but book otherwise seemed new, purchase process went very smoothly. Much better than spending $19.00 on a new version of this 2005 decorating book that is now dated.

Considering the other reviews, I was extremely disappointed in this book. The best design is the somewhat anemic looking lounge on the front cover. The book covers many over decorated rooms that just look ridiculous and old fashioned. I even checked the publishing information to check I hadn't ordered a 1980s copy in error. Save your money. Buy something that has some relevance to designs of 2010.
