Lots of people will buy big, omnibus books about Windows 98 when what they really need is a book that explains how to install, remove, and tune components that work under the operating system. If, for example, you want to install an additional hard disk drive on a Windows 98 machine, there's no need to buy a book that devotes half its length to double-clicking. Good book, but I gave to a hobo, because I don't know ANYBODY still using Windows 98.
