Internet Explorer 8 suggests that it was about Internet Explorer 8. Unfortunately 90% of the manual is related to subjects other than this software product. It provides almost no information about IE 8. It is designed for a class on the internet and focuses on how to search for information on the internet. I sent both manuals back. This manual should not be presented as a manual about Internet Explorer 8.

This book was needed for a college course. Basically following the book they will have you do alot of Print Screening and placing the print screens in WORD. I would have never bought this book if it were not for College but I will not tell you what to do but it is marginally helpful.

The book did a very good job of covering the use of Internet Explorer 8. However Explorer 9 is now in use and although you can complete the instructions there are differences, unfortunetaly the instructor at my college did not
react well. This is not of course the books fault.

I rented this from Amazon because I have so many classes and so many books, this looked like a great option. Well, the one complaint? Even though my kindle has the update to be able to see page numbers, this book is not equipped for that feature! So I have assignments due from page "64" and I have no idea where that is. Very frustrating, and I will have to be sure to check for this feature next time, or half.com will be getting my text book rentals and purchases in the future. $10 extra to avoid the hassle? Yes, please.
