About the Author

Vic Picinich is a computer professional and consultant with more than 25 years experience in the computer field. He presently works as a Microsoft Certified Trainer for Heald College in Stockton, California, with more than 10 years teaching both day and evening classes. Vic has also narrated more than 60 full-length audio training products for AudioWhiz, a Web-based corporation. These include audio self-study training products that help individuals earn certifications from organizations such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Novell, Oracle, and Cisco.

Vic graduated magna cum laude from Saint Peter's College in his hometown of Jersey City, New Jersey, with an MBA in Management Information Systems in 1991. He went on to receive further college instruction at New York University in New York City and Heald College, School of Technology, in San Francisco. He holds the following certifications: MCT, MCSE, MCSA, MOS, CTT+, Server+, Network+, and A+.

I bought this book and read it over a two week period and passed my exam with flying colors. I can't begin to tell you how awesomely well this book prepared me for the exam. I scored almost 900 out of 1000 from reading this book and doing a couple of practice exams, nothing else just the book and practice exams. The chapter on monitoring and remote access is awesome. There is nothing wrong with this book. This book is a hole in one, a bulls eye, a pefect compliement to your experience and know how. Just make sure that you read it cover to cover. To pass this exam follow these simple steps.

1. Read this book cover to cover
2. Take a few practice exams. Make sure you get an 800 or higher on your practice exams, that will give you wiggle room just in case the test proves harder than you expected.
3. Take your real test. That's it nothing else.

If you want to pass your exam... Then use this book.

This book is worth at least twice the listed Amazon price. Not only does it have a LOT of 70-270 Prep Questions, all of those questions are included on the CD and delivered via the MeasureUp engine.

I used this book, the FastPass and lots of hands on to pass the 70-270 exam on my first try.

There are too many easy questions, many errors, and the explanations to the answers tell you little more than the obvious. For the price, it's not a bad way to get a bunch of questions though.
