I ordered this in June. It's only been in my office for about three days and I've only breezed through it -- but it's been popular with our engineers. They've said that it's got some awesome information about SharePoint integration and new and improved ways of handling RDS as a VAR or service provider. If, however, you're just a regular IT person, it's also a great book.

I cannot say that I've read, cover to cover, but I can tell you that the two that have gave it rave reviews and love the companion CD. Cheers to the authors.

I ordered this book on December 17th 2010 immediately after I found out it was available. I must say, a great book. It's easy to read, contains all information about RDS in 2008 R2. With > 7 years of experience with Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services) there even was new information in it for me. In addition, the CD that contains a fully searchable e-book and scripts make it a very complete purchase!

Complements to both authors! I would recommend it to everyone in the RDS field!

Kind regards,
Freek Berson

Both authors have a way of explaining the complex in a way that makes you wonder why can't anyone do this stuff. They published a book about Terminal Services a while back, that was good enough for me to buy this book without thinking twice. I was not disappointed. It's a great read, and worthy of any IT shelf.

Being new to RDS, I was looking for a book that would not only give me a basic overview of RDS, but also a deep understanding on how to setup and configure an RDS Server. I followed this book and was able to setup a production level RDS server that's working flawlessly. Kudos to the authors on great writing.

Easy read. Gives great examples for real world application. 2008R2 design for RDS is drastically different from the old style terminal server.
