Misleading product,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 32-bit for System Builders - 1 pack - with Free Windows 7 Upgrade Coupon (DVD-ROM)
This product states clearly that you get coupon for free upgrade to Windows 7 (Ultimate), however, it doesn't say ANYWHERE on the order page that all submissions need to be done by February 28th, 2010. Bit expired, don't you think? Web site that you're referred to doesn't even exist, it just shows some error with DNS server, which in short means that M$ probably shut it down some time ago. Only way to find out is to actually purchase item and open it, when you can read all this (useless) information inside nice booklet with your code for "free" upgrade. Meh.
If it would be possible to get this upgrade, I'd be happy to give this item 5 stars, but like this, it is just a rip-off. Vista sucks and Amazon messed this one up big time. |
