4.0 out of 5 stars A good guide in need of serious editing
I find this work very handy as a pre-release reference. It is concise and very deep in its overview. However, the syntax and spelling are terrible to the point of being a major distraction to the more literate among us. The entire document should be proofread and edited.

1.0 out of 5 stars I Read The Entire Book While Waiting For My Bathtub to Fill
Wow. Let me tell you how bad this book is. Actually it isn't any sort of book Let's just call it an outline of an article. I read the entire thing while waiting for the water in my tub to fill. Wow. Let me tell you how bad this book is. Actually it isn't any sort of book Let's just call it an outline of an article. I read the entire thing while waiting for the water in my tub to fill. A qualifier--I've hired technology how-to authors since 1994 and I presently work at Microsoft Press. If a proposal for this came across my desk I would have taken it right from my email in box and put it directly in to the recycle bin. Actually the proposals I usually get for computer how-to books are longer and contain more words than this. The first clue that this is just a quick farce to raise some quick cash--no author name on it. If you really want to learn about Windows 7, the microsoft web site has more information as does any article on ZDNet or CNet. This is an embarressment and I would hope Amazon would pull it.
