White Door simply never got the attention of other synthpop and new wave bands of the early 80s like A Flock of Seagulls, Heaven 17, OMD, Depeche, etc., but they did everything right, and if you love those bands, you'll love this band's output. There is really no filler on this collection of perfect new wave pop. It gathers almost all of their recordings, including singles and b-sides. ALMOST. It runs 55 minutes, and as far as I know, it fails to include only two tracks--the 12" version of Love Breakdown (which is only about 30 seconds longer than the album version), and the song "Way of the World". The track listing says Way of the World is on here, but what they've actually done is include the song "The Extra," which was originally the b-side to Way of the World! Tragic that Way of the World wasn't included as well, because both the a and b-sides are great synthpop tracks. Even so, Cherry Pop has done a great job with the sound quality this time around.
