This book has been very informative so far. I am presently taking an online course through City College of San Francisco and This is the textbook for the course. I thought that it was going to be mostly reveiw of my class last semester, but am pleasantly suprised to be learning new things about my computer that I would've never considered.

I had to read to book end to end for a class. It needs to be updated and has a lot of mistakes, but a good teacher tell you where to make the corrections. It is a good book for the beginner, but for the advanced user it is a review.

Based on the economic stiuation it is important to try to cut cost as much as possible these days. Comparing the cost of books from regular book bookstore to Amazon is a bargain for most student. it relieves the cost of going to college by more than 65% in some cases.
