america where he became a owner of a tobacco plantation because he needed money to keep it running he agreed to a arranged marriage to a irish heiress cause he needed her dowry.The heiress didn't want to marry him she wanted to join the church and become a nun.Because he had never met her her illegitimate half sister who was also her maid took her place.The book is about their adventures getting to america and the ups and downs of their marriage before and after he finds out she deceived him. It is a good book with lots of adventures. |
