It is not as well made as the manufacturer's filter - the end caps seperate and/or break even with gentle tapping to clean the dust out of it. I won't order another.

Priced at a fraction of the cost of a genuine Hoover filter, this item outperforms and original. And it is, indeed, washable. Just a minute or so under the tap and it's clean as a whistle. Let it air dry, reinsert into the cleaner, and you're ready to go again. The ability to thoroughly clean the filter increases the cleaner's suction and improves its performance. And you save money, too. So what's not to like.

Look, the Hoover EOM filters are good, but WAY too expensive. These filters do the job and are washable. So you get more for less and can keep reusing them. Bought three and have been using these for 6 months now and they still work great. I hand wash them with my sprayer in the sink and also throw them in the dishwasher every once in a while.

Try them out.

The great feature of this filter is that it is washable, so you can be sure it is clean. No dusty smell after vacuuming. Seems great so far.

This filter was exactly as advertised. I haven't used enough to need washing but I am sure it will hold up to that. Thanks for an excellent product.

I have only washed them a couple of times but they seem to be holding up just fine. I have 2 cats, 2 dogs,and 2 kids which create a very dirty floor. I have three filters which i rotate to always have one clean. I thought I wanted a very small micron HEPA filter, but learned that the small pores don't last long in my house before the filter and therefore the vacuum become worthless. I change my filter at least once during vacuuming and my house is not that big. Just a weakness of the bag less system IMO and not a knock on the filters.

I purchased the Hoover Windtunnel Washable HEPA Filter (#40140201 or #43611042) along with the Hoover agitator brush assembly to help rejuvenate my Hoover Windtunnel vacuum cleaner.

First of all, the price is excellent - fraction of the price for the same parts from Hoover.

Second, Crucial through Amazon is a pleasure to deal with. Order received two days prior to projected delivery date.

Third, after install, my Hoover vacuum now performs almost like new. First vacuum run after install, netted a significant increase in dust & debris pick-up. In addition, the washable feature of the HEPA filter is very desirable - after washing, the filter seems to perform like a new filter. Previously, I would simply brush out my HEPA filter. Of course over time, the HEPA filter would degrade.

Overall, an inexpensive fix to extend the life of my Hoover vacuum.

Great item for the price. I bought 2 at this price. Have not rinsed any to see how it holds up but will see in time.

I'm very happy with the quality and the price is great compared to stores! I'd looked around at several different sources and this was such a great deal compared to the others I was seeing! Happy to have done business with them.
