Bought this for myself before considering buying as a gift. Thanks goodness! I would have been VERY embarrassed to send this. It was just awful! The packaged salmon was not like any smoked salmon I've ever seen - it was a pink slab and dripping with oil. It tasted worse than it looked. The salmon pate was worse looking that my cat's food and smelled of paprika and was more oil than salmon.
The two types of crackers were terrible - one was bland and tasteless and the other was just bits of bread coated with msg and salt.
The knife will be useful.

This was a great gift for my hubby for Christmas! He loves salmon and Camembert cheese! Meanwhile...i love the basket and was able to reuse it after he demolished the contents. I gave it four stars because I simply can't stand the smell of the salmon, but otherwise...it's a great gift idea!
