This review is from: Wine Decanter Cleaner Brush 18" long (Kitchen)
I've tried rice/beans with water and swooshing around. I've tried soaking overnight with dish soap. This is brush has worked the best and you it bends around as you put it in the decanter. square decanters a bit more work in the corners, but this is excellent.

Now This Works,

This review is from: Wine Decanter Cleaner Brush 18" long (Kitchen)
After trying to remove a stubborn decanter stain which had morphed into a mildew-like growth for a week, I finally bought one of these and - viola, success! I combined it with the Riedel Bottle Cleaner Beads (using them as the abrasive) and the problem was solved. It was a tight fit into the decanter and I had to wet it before use, but it came out easily and did the trick while it was there. Recommended.

Wine Decanter Cleaner?,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Wine Decanter Cleaner Brush 18" long (Kitchen)
This brush will not fit into any wine decanters that I own. The brush is one inch in diameter and plastic bristles are fairly stiff. The tip of the brush is doubled over, so it's two inches wide in one direction. This may work in some vases but probably not in any decanter or bud vase. The shaft of the brush is too stiff to bend inside a glass container as shown in the ad for cleaning a carafe. It may have some use for cleaning vases where you can shape it before putting it inside the vase but I don't believe that it is actually reasonable to bend the brush 90 twice inside a carafe as pictured in the ad. I suspect that the brush in the picture is actually in front of the carafe not inside it and was formed using both hands, not one hand and a glass container for leverage.
