I bought this unit in early January. It arrived quickly and looks great. After six months the left side no longer cools. Two emails and one voice mail to Wine Enthusiast have gone completely unanswered. Save yourself the time and money. Buy a more expensive unit that will last longer, or if it breaks someone at the company will care!

1.0 out of 5 stars DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY THIS PRODUCT January 9, 2013
Verified Purchase
Purchased one of these wine refrigerators on October 1st on 2012. It was shipped to us and we set it up, turned it on and it seemed to work fine. We went on vacation end of December and came home to find that zone 1 which was set to 56 degrees had gone up to 70 degrees and zone 2 which was set to 64 degrees was now at 68 degrees. Neither zone would go to the set level. Went on line to Amazon and their return policy was one month. THE MANUFACTURER WON'T HONOR the warranty when sold by a third party, so basically we could have flushed the $190.00 that we paid for this product down the toilet and been just as well off as we are today. AS THE HEADLINE SAYS.... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!!! As a matter of fact, I will in the future boycott all products from Wine Enthusiast!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Won't maintain temp March 29, 2013
By Andrea

I bought this because it was exactly the size I wanted and it had a dual zone temp control. However, if I put more than two bottles in one side, it won't cool lower than 56 degrees on that side, no matter how long I leave it closed. I am going to return it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Wine Fridge a bit tempermental! December 12, 2012
By RWT

This thing is bigger than you might think--being just a 12 bottle unit. It is also heavy, so moving it around isn't easy. It is well packed but that makes the box bulky--hard to handle by yourself. My unit started working fine, then went through a week of throwing display fits--lighting up all elements. Had to guess at temperature settings. It also would periodically BEEP for no good reason, sometimes sounding like the roadrunner. However, after a week or so of that, it has returned to normal operation. Having discarded the carton and considering the hassle, I would not have sent it back regardless (and it has always cooled). Oh--it is also not quite as 'silent' as described--at least not if you are sitting anywhere near. I ended up moving it away from my living areas.

1.0 out of 5 stars Piece of Junk July 5, 2014
By Gee Tee
I bought this from Skymall (not Amazon, not that it matters) about 3 years ago. The temps never came close to the settings since it was new, then recently one side kept beeping and was reporting a temp of 81 degrees. Don't really have a use for a wine heater. I pulled the back off to see if it was just clogged. I have a feeling it's one of the fancy cooling gizmos you can't replace. It's dead. I paid with Marriott points but I am NOT going to shell out 200 clams for another one by this manufacturer. It seemed like a piece of garbage from the get go. Hard to tell when you're just looking at pictures on a website.

5.0 out of 5 stars Second one from Wine Enthusiast March 5, 2014

Last year I bought a bigger model of this as a Christmas present. The recipients enjoyed it so much I got a smaller version for their vacation property - and they love it as well.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap November 28, 2013
The left zone failed in less than a year and the right zone is 10 degrees higher than the set temp. Don't waste your money on this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well, but needs room for ventilation
Works well, so long as you leave sufficient room at the rear of unit for air circulation. If you push the unit up against a wall (such as sitting on a countertop) it will overheat... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent buy in a small wine cooler.
The wine cooler works exactly as advertised. It maintains the desired temperatures to plus/minus 1 degree F. No problem in maintaining 62 F/48 F in the two sides of the fridge. Read more
