Drying stand does a great job of drying the inside of my decanters. I used to dry them upside down on a paper towel, but it took forever and left them vunerable to tipping over and breaking. This safely dries them in no time. For small decanters cut a hole in a plastic lid, set the lid on top of the rack, and insert small decanter upside down through the hole. Hint: when rinsing the decanter use very hot tap water to heat up the decanter. This helps with fast spot free drying.

This wire decanter stand is excellent. It holds my decanter upside down, and even (if I wish) at a slight angle (so the water drains down the side as opposed to getting stuck on the convex bottom).

The drying stand has a wide base, is unobtrusive, simple and classy, and is built to easily manage the weight of a lead-crystal decanter. The rubber coating around the top circle provides a non-slip surface on which to rest an upside down decanter.

Instead of trying to balance an expensive piece of crystal upside down or smushing towels in and out, use this stand to make cleaning your decanter ease. I'd recommend using very hot water when cleaning the decanter as it will expedite the drying process.

This is a great stand for drying wine decanters. It is barely visible, the the top of the unit has a rubber cover that both protects the glass and firmly holds the decanter in place. Nudging or pushing the decanter did not cause it to tip over.

After years of twisting towels and inserting them in decanters to get out the moisture from rinsing them, I am thrilled to have this drying stand. It is a very simple design, but the benefits are huge. We are now decanting our wines, young and old, whenever we open a bottle. The stand is perfectly balanced, too.

Great drying time. As long as you dont have a hardwater. Then you would need some neutral liquid soap....

We had the decanter pictured with this drying stand. Shortly after purchasing it, we realized drying would be a problem. We're glad Wine Enthusiast had this stand available. Works great.

Before purchasing, I was slightly concerned whether this would work with a decanter that is 5.5 inches wide since it is illustrated with a very-wide decanter in the ad. I am happy to say that it does. While the decanter was held in place "as is" I added a margin of safety by squeezing this decanter holder together slightly to reduce the width of the opening.

I am very pleased with the clean design and the coating on the rim that helps protect the glass of the decanter from scratches or breaks.

This is a great item! The added rubber ring around the top is a nice touch.

Good quality, heavier metal that holds our decanter perfectly for drying. We like it so much, we leave it out as a display stand for our decanter. Exactly what we needed! The coating on the metal works well to gently hold the decanter without scratching.

People complain that it is difficult to clean decanters without a lot of water spots. Wash in water so hot that it almost scalds your hands, and immediately place the decanter on the rack. This promotes water sheeting rather than spotting. It's expensive but may be worth it if you spend $$$ on the decanter.
