I have several of the wine related cookbooks of Virginia and Robert Hoffman, and I think this book is one of their most useful ones. They provide the menus, recipes and wine suggestions for 13 special holiday meals, all designed for simple, pain-free entertaining. There are many"Prepare Ahead" recipes so the host can enjoy the event, too.

A very nice present for self or friends.
