Iranian ideology published in Paris,
This review is from: The Wine of Nishapur: A Photographer's Promenade in the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam (Hardcover)
The best book I have ever read and purchased, from one of the finest translators of Iran, Karim Emami, Golestan one of the brightest journalists, combined with one of the best calligraphers, to produce the brilliant works of Ommar Khayyam. It it such a delight o read it and find it in your library.

Beautifully designed book, but not what I expected,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Wine of Nishapur: A Photographer's Promenade in the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam (Hardcover)
I bought this book primarily because I was looking for a translation of Omar Khayyam's Rubaiyat by Karim Emami. I didn't realize that it only contained 72 quatrains out of the original 1200. The text is accompanied by pictures of natural scenes that pair well with the quatrains, although some photographs lack crispness as a result of enlargement. The book is oversized, so it is probably better suited for a coffeetable rather than your bookshelf. I like the idea of this book, and I am glad I bought it, but it certainly wasn't what I was expecting.
