We were staying at the Thredbo Hotel for a wedding and the weather was fairly wet. My husband started to read the Wine Travel Guide to the World. He thought it was a wonderful book and we tried to purchase it at reception. They did not have any for sale and it was only in some of the better rooms. I came home and searched the web and then ordered two copies to be sent. They arrived earlier than the guaranteed delivery date. We were able to give one to a friend who had a birthday on Christmas Day and the other was from me to my husband for his birthday on 23rd December.
Would you believe when his sister visited us from interstate she had purchased one in Queensland for his birthday too. Therefore we were able to give a copy to another friend for Christmas. It is an invaluable book and if you are travelling overseas a wonderful addition to your packing. Thank you. Sonia Hathaway |
