We've adored Foodie Fight and we're delighted to learn about Wine Wars- It didn't disappoint! I highly recommend Wine Wars and Foodie Fight for your home. I've given both games as gifts with rave reviews and have since ordered extra copies to give to the Foodies and Wine lovers in our life. Cheers!

I love the design of this game, and my family has such a blast whenever we have the occasion to play. I find the array of questions well balanced, allowing both opportunities to show off and stretch the mind.

This is a very fun game. With two people, it goes by pretty quickly, about 1/2 an hour. What I really love about it is the questions really range in difficulty, and there are multiple choice questions. You certainly don't have to bee a wine expert to play, but if you are, it would still be fun too.

I love all things food and wine, so when I discovered Wine Wars, I knew I had to have it! I was a little worried that my limited wine knowledge might not stand up to the questions, but I actually won the first time I played! It's especially fun to play when with people of different levels of wine knowledge, because players are able to rely on their strengths in science, language, culture, etc. (not just food & wine). I've found the packaging and individual game boards to be great. The box is small enough to take with you on the go--makes for an easy, impromtu trivia night with friends or at a party to liven things up!

My husband has been a waiter in a fine dining establishment for over 25 years so needless to say, he has a good amount of wine knowledge. I purchased this product to entertain him at work when business is slow. So far, he has enjoyed the variety of questions included. But,you don't have to be a wine expert to play this game, trust me, I'm no expert and I can play too!

Fairly one-dimensional,

Since the two people intended to play this game in my case (xmas gift) both have a strong background in wine, it's less than exciting - lots of simple wine questions and since the "play" of the game consists of pretty much solely of rolling a die to see which category question gets asked, it's not a very interesting game. Many of the questions are misleading (true or false questions where the statement "something rather than something is true" is considered false because they are both true, and poorly worded questions are frequently confusing, as well as many opinion-based questions being offered up as fact-based) - so even if you do have information connected to the question you may or may not answer "correctly." Overall, might be a bit more fun for a group, but since the game is so simplistic and the questions go from incredibly simple to convoluted/opinion-based with not much in between I wouldn't recommend this to someone who already has a lot of wine knowledge because it will be a mildly frustrating snooze.

This game is for people who appreciate taste of good wines. "A trivia game for wine geeks" gave us different side of knowledge which is much deeper that we expected. We do love wines and have some familiarity about the subject. However, this game showed us that we have chance to learn a lot more. We appreciate that. That is always nice and easier to learn something new a fun way.

This game was filled with grammar errors,

I don't think the author took the time to check grammar errors. Some questions were very long and no structure to the sentence. Also questions could have been divided up into levels such as beginner, intermediate, advance. Most of the people invited to my tasting had been to other wine tasting and have some knowlege of wine but also interested in learning more. Answering a color/question proved to be challenge for some, since the question they rolled on could be an advanced level question.
