David Pearce worked as the sommelier in a Michelin starred restaurant for 10 years and has taken the Wine and Spirit Education Trust examinations up to diploma level. He now owns a wine importing business that has won acclaim in the Financial Times from Jancis Robinson; one of the world's most highly regarded wine writers. His company imports wine from all over Australia and sells it via the Internet. He also supplies bars and restaurants all over the UK. He has travelled extensively in Australia, visited some 300 wineries, and can personally recommend the very best wine Australia has to offer.
