We bought this for our 3 1/2 year old for Christmas. He's enjoying it very much, and I think that our 16 month old and Daddy are both enjoying singing in it just as much! It has been a lot of fun for our whole family. The sound isn't super high quality, but you can hear yourself singing and that is the point. It's nice that the microphone stand adjusts to different heights and that the microphone is removable from the stand. There is no volume control, but I don't think the volume is excessive. This product is just what we were looking for in a cheap, child's microphone. We're very satisfied with it at this point.

This is a fun toy. However, I realized after I opened the box that the toy contains lead. Not sure where the lead is...on the inside vs. the outside. I have two small children and I don't want to take any chances with their health. I'm sending it back.

I looked at the microphones online and chose this one because of the reviews and price. My 4 year old loves it! She drags it all around the house and breaks out in random performances. Trust me, the sound is LOUD and clear. Plus, the lights and sound effects work great! I think it is a good purchase!
