quality wooden dummy for a great price, November 9, 2006
This review is from: Wing Chun Dummy (Misc.)
This is a quality wooden dummy for a great price. It came in 3 packages. The wood is solid, and seems very durable. The wood also has a great finish. I only noticed 1 dent in the base, but it is nothing serious. I didnt want to pay a $1000 for a wooden dummy, so I was a little worried on the quality. I must say this was worth every cent.

I'm SICK of being lied to, April 11, 2007
This review is from: Wing Chun Dummy (Misc.)
You would think that for the $800 some odd dollars, with shipping, that you could expect to get what you're sold. Not so.
I specifically bought this particular wooden dummy because it shows it being used freestanding--without being fixed to a wall. They show it this way, specifically neglect to mention it anywhere in the details, and make you wait until you have already unpacked it and read a small label on the face of the pole which warns paralysis and death from not affixing it to a wall--because the thing is front-heavy just shy of tipping over on it's own. Of course, coincidentally, this means that if you want to return it, it means the pain in the backside of repacking the entire thing and sending it back--if they'd even take it back.
My advice. Don't buy this product. Don't buy from this vendor. Don't support companies who lie to you.
I am surprised Amazon supports businesses who lie to their customers, play them for idiots, and leave them holding the bag. With any luck, Amazon will drop this vendor altogether.
