This book causes one to stop and ponder the meaning behind each poem. It is worth reading at least two or three times to appreciate what has been laid down on these pages.
At the same time, Chandler is not pretentious and unnecessarily opaque as other poets are. The prose are enjoyable to read for the everyday reader, not just dedicated philosophy majors. Definitely worth a read.

This guy really has his finger on the pulse of the human condition. A skewed perpspective that speaks for those of us not able to be nearly so eloquent. Tom Chandler is to poetry what Frank Zappa is to music. Take a chance on Chandler. You won't regret it.
