Parallel American / Japanese photo history,
By A Customer
This review is from: Winged Samurai: Saburo Sakai and the Zero Fighter Pilots (Paperback)
Excellent photo history of the Japanese & American pilots who flew against each other in the Pacific. Photographs, diagrams & detailed research combined to entertain & educate readers of all ages. Great coffee table book or primary source for research. From past to present with modern photos of former rivals together decades after the war.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Winged Samurai: Saburo Sakai and the Zero Fighter Pilots (Paperback)
I read "SAMURAI" by Saburo Sakai in 1957 and loved the reality of the Zero cockpit during a dog fight. This new book Wings of the Samuri is, again, very good. Matter of fact if Amazon.com can get me a signed autograph from Mr. Sikai I would pay whatever...Can Amazon.com do that?
