This book has the most amazing use of sceneplay and character symbolence i have ever seen. Its the giant soap opera that has you intregied, justified with american history backdrops. I am giong to write a better review later but i highly recommend this book, to anyone.

It seems to me it was the first book by Irwin Shaw I've read. And it was increadible. He's genious. The language, the contents, thoughts etc. The book is great and I think it's a real masterpiece!
