I LOVE this recording.
I think this recording is very suitable for listeners who hope for a new feeling in new age music. The synthesiser orchestration and piano tones may be familiar to everyone, but as you listen on, you'll notice the difference. The Asian instruments flowing along with familiar sounds creates a special sensation, a different taste, and it seems that you are brought to a different world. The easy melodies composed by Naoyuki Onda are unforgettable, and Onda's good keyboard playing makes this recording even more outstanding. I believe that Onda has suceeded in creating a new world of sound.
For those who love to try new things, I strongly recommend this record!

Very good CD --- cross between Yanni, Soul Ballet, and contemporary jazz. Its highlites; title cut "Wings in the Dawn", plus "Zooming Clouds" and "From the Cape".

Wings in the Dawn (2002) is another instrumental album by Naoyuki Onda. In this release, Onda sets the tone with atmospheric music, a little upbeat and more pop sounding than Dream for instance. As usual, Onda puts forth an admirable production. Recommended for instrumental music lovers, especially if you have a penchant for Japanese sounds.
