This album is perhaps one of the best live rock albums of all time, capturing McCartney at his best. Two discs contain stellar material from start to finish, including some gems from the Beatle era, and even Denny Lane singing on the Moody Blues' hit "Go Now." The highlight of the album, though, is probably "Maybe I'm Amazed," by all accounts a performance that eclipses the studio version.

PAUL MCCARTNEY PROBABLY HAS AT LEAST A HALF A DOZEN LIVE CD'S BUT TO ME THIS IS THE BEST OF THEM ALL. I MYSLF HAVE 2 OTHER LIVE DISC'S BY HIM BUT THIS IS THE BEST. FIRST OF ALL NOTHING AGAINST USING KEYBOARDS FOR THE HORNS, BUT HERE YOU GET THE REAL THING. THIS ONE ALSO HAS MANY SONGS THAT PAUL HAS LONG SINCE RETIRED. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME HE DID SPIRITS OF ANCIENT EGYPT LIVE? THE SOUND OF THE DISC IS REALLY NOT THAT BAD SINCE THE ONE I HAVE HAS NOT BEEN REMASTERED. THE BASS MAY BE A LITTLE HEAVY AT TIMES BUT A BELIEVE MOST NON REMASTERED DISCS ARE THIS WAY. THE DISC RUNS FOR ALMOST 2 HOURS AND THEIR REALLY ISN'T A BAD SONG ON HERE. I TRY TO KEEP IN MIND PAUL WAS JUST ABOUT 33 WHEN THIS TOUR OCCURED. HE REALLY WAS JUST HITTING HIS PEAK AT THIS TIME SO HIS VOICE SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER THAN TODAY. IF YOU LIKE PAUL'S NEWER LIVE MATERIAL, PICK UP THIS DISC AND GIVE IT A TRY. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Don't buy this its coming out in a re-issue then the price will go way down. Or get it from the library

This is one of my all time favorite Wings albums...I've been looking for this on CD for years and luckily I found a used copy in excellent condition on Amazon.com. This double album has some of Wings' greatest hits along with a few obscure cuts...they also sprinkle in some classic Beatles stuff for good measure. Not withstanding the great song selection, this is one of the best live albums ever recorded...the sound quality is amazing and the songs are in some cases better than the original studio cuts. A great album for any die hard Paul McCartney fan...highly recommend.
