Fun Time Travel, Fast Read,
By
This review is from: Wings of the Storm (Mass Market Paperback)
I picked this up at a used bookstore, recognizing the author's name from her currently popular vampire series. This novel features Jane Florian, a medieval history specialist who is launched against her will into the Middle Ages in a time travel experiment. Stuck there, she establishes herself as chatelaine of a local castle and concentrates on making the teenage lord and lady a successful couple, while fighting her own attraction to Sir Daffyd, a local knight. I loved reading Jane/Jehane's adventures, as she constantly balanced her impulse to make life better with her fear of drastically changing history. There was a fun twist in the romance with Sir Daffyd, and the explanations, when they were given, went a long way toward making the twist believable. The fast pace, good characterization and high level of quality in the writing made this an entertaining read.

A Delightful Medieval Time Travel Romance,

This review is from: Wings of the Storm (Paperback)
This is a fine time-travel romantic tale. The characters are well drawn and the humor and dialogue are riveting. One of the reviews wisely warns readers not to read too many others as they give away the plot. I am glad I heeded that advice because I really did not guess the ending and was delighted by it. It takes place during medieval times, as do some other books by Sizemore. It is a wonderful book with which to while away some happy hours.

Thrown back in time by a mad 20 yr. old scientist Jane Florian finds herself in medievel England. She curses David Wolfe for his impetuousness. She is found & taken to the local keep & becomes chatalain. Then she meets Sir Daffyd who is not what he seems...A fantastic story, the likes of which I have never read before.

LOVE THIS BOOK,
This review is from: Wings of the Storm (Paperback)
This was the first romance novel I ever read and I loved every minute of it. I was all of 19 when I first picked it up. 14 years later I have happily rediscovered this book and read it's still wonderful.

Word of warning! Don't read the other reviews! They loved this story, but gave away the jaw-dropping surprise at the end of the book! This is a fun read, the best Susan Sizemore I've read! This was actually the first one of hers I read, and I was impressed. It's fresh, witty, and worth finding!

It had some interesting ideas, but probably not enough to recommend it. Too much of the book was spent describing daily activities and life back in medieval times. I wanted the book to be over. Sexual content: moderate.

machine by her drunken boss and years later when he shows up, she and he have sex and then marry each other? If I were Jane, I would have a nice big screaming fight with him too.
As for kids? forget it. It is nice thought, that David can tolerate Jane's perception without shutting her out emotionally and he doesnt attempt to take over her life and expect her to live happily ever after with him just because he feels his perception and interpetation is right and she should not argue or question it.

I just loved this book i don't know what it was about it but i just loved it. it was the hot daffyd that turned out to be david the guy who forced jane to time travel but at the moment he was drunk. I was so sweet the way he protected, cared for her and every thing about was good but some parts i did not like but do read it. this book is about david a smart young boy who forced jane to time travel back to the tweith century but instead send her to thriteenth century because of an incident. But he had a guilty conscience and went back in time to find her and looked for her for 15 years. named him self daffyd and fell in love with a woman named Jahne fitzrose. You got to read it to know more i bet you will enjoy it. If you r the romantic type.
