This book was very disappointing. I was expecting to get some detailed information on hunting areas, success, and access, and instead got a book that looks like it was compiled from the Washington Fish and Game website. If you are looking for a book to help you in your quest to shoot birds in Washington; this book isn't it.

The contents of this book can all be found in bird web sites. His information is way to general. I think its just another way for this person to make a quick buck!

This book is excellent. It gives very good tips on equipment, clothing and safety for all types of hunting environments. Excellent teaching methods on where to find birds etc to shoot, best times of year to hunt, where to hunt and what to find at what time of year. It's a well thought out book with a wealth of information. It is obvious much time, effort, thought and above all experience went into this book. I especially like the safety aspect of this book. After all it was written by a Doctor.
