I never doubted that Cheryl would give ANOTHER Quality album. The music on this album is AWESOME! Vocally she is on another album. Spiritually she is on another level and it shines through on every track. The title track "Winner In Me" is my absolute favorite. After that would be "I Surrender." I can listen to every track and not skip once. "Make A Way" is Packed with energy and will have you bobbing your head about the Faith of knowing no matter what your faced with Jesus is gonna come thru and MAKE A WAY!."May Be My Last Time" is another Favorite where Coko ask you to get with her and give God the Praise thats due because it just might be your last time."Oh Mary,Renew My Mind, Let Me Go" are all favorites as well.Overall you can get what you need from every track on this album. Whatever your mood, whatever your situation after your done listening you will feel inspired to keep on pressing towards your destiny. You will indeed find the WINNER within. Great JOB COKO!!!! Love ya Beautiful :)

This project is incredible. I have never been a fan of SWV, but hearing "The Winner In Me" on BET's Video Gospel influenced me to purchase this project. This joint is young, annointed, traditional and fresh all at the same time. The production of this cd is awesome. My favs are "Make A Way", feat. Canton Jones, "The Winner In Me", "May Be The Last Time", and "Renew My Mind", feat. Lady Tibba(Coko's Mom). Each track on this project reflects a personal experience of Coko reflecting her personal triumphs in Christ. This cd is a must have for everyone who loves gospel music. Way to go Coko, this project is hot and deserves, a Stellar, Dove and Grammy.....!

I purchased this album when it came out in July and its STILL one of my top 3 album releases of the Year 2009. I dont understand why it hasn't been nominated for any stellar awards (or how that award process works) but this album is AWESOME from beginning to end!!!!! Way to go Coko! Keep on singing HIS praises!!!!!

I have been a fan of Coko since SWV and I am proud to say that I am glad that she is back where she belongs. A lot of people don't realize that she was raised in the churc h and now has returned back to her roots. The songs on the CD are spectacular. Each song is filled with a personal testimony. A lot of times we buy gospel music today and you can not tell the difference between the world and the church but you can not make that mistake with her CD becuase you know that what she is singing is about Jesus, It seems as if God took her to another level. You will greatly appretiate the gift God has placed within her and how she use it on her sophomore Gospel album.

I love Coko's music and I still love listening to SWV, that's how I got into her solo music. I like the fact she incorporated gospel into her singing career but I wish she would balance her new albums with love songs as well as gospel. I think this album should have had at least 2 or 3 "regular" songs about love. Even though I am a christian and accept Jesus Christ as my personal saviour I still balance my life with prayer and other worldy issues like love, people, places and things, although I am powerless over them. "Let Me Go" is the only song that doesn't mention God in every other sentence. I believe God does want us to praise him but also still be a human being that experiences life on life's terms. What I'm basically saying is I need a balance when it comes to music and I'm not exposed to gospel music and I don't like to listen to it all the time. It feels strange when I listened to this cd because I'm not used to God being praised so much, almost like an obsession. I love the songs "Let Me Go", Oh Mary, I Surrender, and Renew My Mind. I also like the first track which is not your standard Coko song. It starts off rock and I was like "uh oh I hope Coko isn't doing that american idol stuff." But the cd gets better towards the end and I was satisfied. Some of the songs are too repetative like "May Be the Last Time". I have to skip over it because as an artist you should try and keep it interesting, especially when you have all the creative power to do so. I will always love Coko and SWV and I think it's fantastic that Coko is putting out positive music about love, life and God when we are living in very sick times. Praise God. ******* I would also like to ammend my review because after listening to Coko's cd, it has grown on me and I am starting to enjoy listening to songs that only praise God and Jesus. I wish people would understand that this is only my second gospel listening experience, the first being Coko's Grateful. The amazing thing about Coko is that she is crossover and had it not been for her, I would not be exposed to this kind of music. Coko has intoduced the gospel to me and I thank her and God for this experience. I wish i could go back and give her cd 5 stars. I want to play this cd in the car and make my friends hear this music, and play it loud enough for them to hear the message. I've already played it once with my roomate and it's amazing to see the reaction on their face and in their behaviour. A sense of calm comes over them, so I recommend others spread the word of God through this cd. Thank you Coko for your amazing talent and for teaching me the word of God through your music.
