Really cute and functional
We got this lamp becasue of the night light feature becasue our daughter had severe reflux and we were in and out of her constantly. The night light gives you jsut enough light to check on her without waking her. The shade to me seems fine. Yes it is a paper material but most of our other shades are made of the same material. So far they all have done fine.

Lamp of the Century? NO!
Well, I rec. this lamp as a shower present and though it matches our bedding and is very cute, I am not entirely pleased. The lamp part seems fine, sturdy enough and plenty of light, I like the lamp or nightlight feature. However, I am not crazy about the lampshade. Very flimsy. As I was removing it from the box, I realize it is paper and it bends as I am trying to place...

Well, I rec. this lamp as a shower present and though it matches our bedding and is very cute, I am not entirely pleased. The lamp part seems fine, sturdy enough and plenty of light, I like the lamp or nightlight feature. However, I am not crazy about the lampshade. Very flimsy. As I was removing it from the box, I realize it is paper and it bends as I am trying to place it on the lamp. The shade now has several creases in it. Though I do like the lamp, I think the shade may have to be replaced before long.

pretty good product,

The shade IS Definitely flimsy, but so far it hasn't needed to be replaced. I like that it can be used as a night light or a regular lamp. (it saves me from occupying another outlet for a nightlight.)
