My son loves this product and if I didn't hide it, would play with it all the time. I like the fact that the letters are all stored in the honey pot for each use. I also like that it does more than just teach reading.

i got this for my 3 yr old daughter for christmas and was pleased to find that it was not so hard for her that she couldnt play with it yet not so simple that she got bored. it offers many learning activities including music which allow the player to learn on many different levels including math. for instance...on the letter sound game if you put in the tile with the "p" letter showing pooh bear says, "p says puh" (i know some people dont like their children learning the letter sounds pronounced this way but there is nothing wrong with it; that is how they teach it on sesame street and with an electronic toy it is the only way that a child will be able to differentiate between that sound and a similar letter sound if they only make the first sound which would not be audible) and if you turn the tile over and put it in with the piglet facing out it says, "p is for piglet" so your child hears the letter sound and can also hear a word that starts with the letter sound applied. the only tricky part here is that many of the games require all the tiles be laid out so that when pooh asks a question your child can easily find the tile he/she needs rather than sorting through the pot to try and find it. (which is no big deal) i was fortunate to get it at a much lower price than is listed (i think i paid 20 dollars through ebay and it was new in package) so if you can find it for a reasonable price i would recommend it.
