My daughter received this book as a gift over a year ago and she still brings it to me to read it to her! Now that she is older, she looks at it by herself also. She never bores of it. I think your child will enjoy it too.

Here is an excerpt for you:

"Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet are friends. They like to do things together. In SPRING, they go for a walk in the rain.

They fly kites on windy days.

When summer comes, Pooh and Piglet go swimming in the pond..."

Other things they do together is: in the SUMMER, Pooh and Piglet chases fireflies while Pooh counts the stars; in AUTUMN, Pooh rakes leaves and Piglet jumps into the pile, and Pooh picks apples while Piglet gathers acorns; in WINTER, they build a snowman, and Pooh and his friends go skating on the frozen pond. [Kanga, Roo, Tigger and Rabbit are also there.] Great book to teach the seasons to your child!

What is I appreciate the most about this book is it shows a child that just being together with friends and loved ones is special--it doesn't matter what you do, as long as you do it together! Another lesson learned is you don't have to like all the same things in order to be friends. Pooh and Piglet are best friends because they accept and respect each others' differences.

I highly recommend this book! (A must-own for Pooh and Piglet fans!) It is very colorful and beautifully illustrated (couldn't be better!) and it always brings a smile my daughter's face--mine too! Pooh and Piglet are great examples to all of us how friends should treat each other--with kindness, courtesy, respect and lots of love.
