My 4 year old son loves this double CD. The voices of the characters are wonderful. The stories are true to the books and very entertaining. When it is my son's turn to choose what we listen to in the car, we end up listening to these CDs. We have owned them for over a year and he continues to request them. Highly recommended.

Our daughter (age 4) has a somewhat insatiable appetite for stories. We have purchased many of our favorite books as audio CDs, Frances books, Mouse Tales, Frog and Toad... the Giant Jam Sandwich. But these Winnie the Pooh stories are uniquely good. Head and shoulders above the others. Because of the different actors, and the great writing, kids and adults can listen to these over and over. When we drive, these are the only CDs my husband and I will play. The others make us crazy but these we really enjoy. House at Pooh Corner from the same series is equally excellent.

This is a terrific version of the Winnie the Pooh stories. I particularly like that there is a cast, rather than one reader doing all of the voices. Makes it easier for my little boy to follow, I think. The language is graceful and elegant and we are really enjoying it.

Great actors: Judi Dench, Jeffrey Palmer, Jane Horrocks, and others. Also, wonderful music and sound effects. I never liked Disney's Winnie the Pooh, but I love this book on CD (also, look for the House at Pooh Corner by the same cast). Oh, my kids (boys 2 and 5) are crazy about them, too. They've started to quote the stories.

Nice if you are just listening. Not for reading along with the book. They don't read every word and sometimes skip portions of narration. The songs are wonderful, though. And my kids like the sound effects. Just not what I was expecting.

This is the best rendition of Winnie the Pooh my husband and I have ever heard. We got the cassettes when our kids were 2 and 4. They're now 7 and 9 and we still all listen to it in the car at times. In fact, the tapes melted a bit in the sun, so we've just ordered a new set of these CDs.

We've had this audio cd for three years and my now four year and six year old ask for it over and over. We'll put it away for a few months (in the car) and bring it out again and they'll want to listen to it all year. They love Piglet's squeaky voice and poor Eyeore's woe-is-me voice and Kanga's matter-of-fact Judi Dench voice. It is beautifully done and the background music is simple, delightful and perfect. Outstanding work and interpretation.

I bought this for a friend of mine's daughter, and I will be purchasing a copy for my own daughter when she is a little older. I love the dramatic re-enactment. They got a great cast of people to do the voices. What a pleasure to listen to.
